Water and the vortex
Spirals and vortexes appear throughout nature – particularly wherever water is free to move, from natural springs to flowing rivers. This natural movement has fascinated and inspired people throughout history.
Austrian forester and naturalist Viktor Schauberger believed that water is at its best when allowed to move naturally – meandering, spiralling and forming vortexes – and developed ideas and devices based on these principles.
German water researchers Theodor and Wolfram Schwenk explored water as far more than simply a chemical substance. Theodor Schwenk developed the drop-picture method, which makes the subtle patterns and formative movements within different water samples visible. Their work suggests an intimate relationship between water quality, movement and the forms water creates.

Through our work with Co-Creative Science and subtle-energy approaches, we understand the specially formed spiral as gathering and directing life force into the water as it passes through – somewhat like a magnifying lens gathers and focuses light.
What is a water energiser – and what is “living”, “structured” or “vitalised” water?
A water energiser is designed to influence qualities of water beyond chemical purity alone. At PANOSUN, we use terms such as “living”, “structured” , "engergiused" and “vitalised” water to describe and explore subtler qualities such as vitality, structure and organisation. There is no single universally accepted definition of these terms.
This recognition that different waters can have different qualities is far from new. For thousands of years and across many cultures, particular waters – from natural and mineral springs to healing wells and sacred springs – have been valued and renowned for their special qualities. Ancient Greek healing sanctuaries and the great Roman spa traditions are well-known examples. “Living”, “structured” and “vitalised” water can be seen as modern expressions of this much older understanding of water.
Modern science continues to uncover the remarkable complexity of water, and studies using differently treated or “structured” water have found measurable differences in plant growth, yield and development.

The AQUA-VORTEX™ requires virtually no maintenance.
Rinse it after use with liquids other than water. It can be cleaned with hot soapy water or in a dishwasher, and if limescale develops it can be soaked in vinegar.
The separately available 4-inch funnel can be selected when ordering your AQUA-VORTEX™. It is made from polypropylene (PP).
We also supply short half-inch tubes , which fit some filter taps and allow the AQUA-VORTEX™ to be used directly with them.
