Answers to the questions we are most often asked about both the Original AQUA-VORTEX™ and the Gold AQUA-VORTEX Plus™. Where the two models differ, we explain this below.
Both are based on the AQUA-VORTEX™ principle, but they are not simply the same coil made from different materials.
The Original AQUA-VORTEX™ is made from food-grade 316 marine-grade stainless spring steel and is our versatile all-rounder. It can be used with drinking water and also for experimenting with other water-based liquids.
The Gold AQUA-VORTEX Plus™ has a specialised spiral design developed specifically for water. It is made from hard phosphor bronze with a substantial 23-carat gold coating. In our co-creative understanding, this produces a considerably stronger and more refined energetic effect.

No. Neither AQUA-VORTEX™ removes contaminants or makes unsafe water safe to drink. If your water requires purification, filtration or other treatment, this should be done before passing the water through the AQUA-VORTEX™.

If the water has been stored for several days and the effect seems to have faded, simply pass it through again.
No. The water simply passes through the specially formed spiral. A visible whirlpool is not required. In our understanding, the spiral itself is the important part of the design – somewhat like a magnifying lens which gathers and focuses light.
Our favourite way to begin is the simple Two-Glass Test.
Fill one glass with your normal water. Pour the same water through the AQUA-VORTEX into a second glass, allow it to rest, and then compare the two.
Notice any difference in taste, texture, freshness or simply your overall response to the water. People notice different things – and some people are naturally more sensitive than others. The point is not to believe us, but to compare it for yourself.
We recommend passing cold or cool water through the AQUA-VORTEX™ first and then heating it. For your safety, do not pour hot or boiling water directly through either model.
The Original AQUA-VORTEX is our all-round liquid energiser and is the model we recommend if you would like to experiment with other water-based liquids as well as drinking water.
The Gold AQUA-VORTEX Plus has been designed specifically for water, and we recommend using it primarily for that purpose.
In our experience and co-creative understanding, the Gold Plus has a considerably stronger energetic effect than the Original AQUA-VORTEX.
If you are completely new to energised water, you can begin with the Original AQUA-VORTEX and become familiar with it before moving to Gold Plus.
Alternatively, if you begin directly with Gold Plus, we suggest starting with approximately one glass per day during the first month, two glasses per day during the second month and around three glasses per day during the third. The principle is simply: explore gradually and notice your own response.
Original stainless-steel AQUA-VORTEX:
It requires virtually no maintenance. Rinse it after using liquids
other than water. It can be cleaned with hot soapy water or in a
dishwasher. If limescale develops, it can be soaked in vinegar.
Yes – the easiest way to use either AQUA-VORTEX is to place it
in the neck of a suitable funnel and pour the water through.
We supply a separately available 4-inch polypropylene funnel that can be included in the order as an option.
Alternatively, we also offer short half-inch tubes which fit some water-filter
taps, allowing an AQUA-VORTEX to be used directly with the tap.
