Our specially designed funnel is free from PVC, heavy-metal, plasticiser and BPA. 
It is neutral, safe and strong, containing only long molecules of the gas propane (like the gas you burn safely on a stove at home, creating CO2 and water steam in the process) and some chalk. Even somebody implants, ropes and drum sticks are made from PP = (C3H6)n, because it is so clean, neutral, non-toxic, strong and durable.

It is very likely that your mains water pipes are made of Polypropylene, or a version of its sister material Polyethylene (PE) = (C2H4)n, because it is a chemically inert material and does not react with water or dissolved chemicals that may be in the water. Unlike copper or some plastics, PP and PE won't leach any trace chemicals into water. 

The ‘thinner’ sister material PE is also found as the material used in milk containers and the inner and outer lining of cartons for milk and milk-alternatives (e.g. oat, soya or coconut-milk) and cartons of fruit-juices etc.

We find the environmentally-sound polypropylene funnel lightweight (low postage cost), long-lasting (does not break), easy to clean and inexpensive.
Furthermore, it does not disturb the quality of the water/liquid and is neutral to its energetic imprint.

You can clean the funnel with hot, soapy water and it is also dishwasher proof.
