The Findhorn

Co-Creative Science

Study Group

What we did:

Because nobody attended this particular group (possibly due to a late change of date), I decided to work co-creatively on my suggestions for the new Findhorn Community and New Findhorn Association Common Ground.

Here the result:

New draft Common Ground
- a perspective
:

A lot of hard work and thought must have gone into the creation of the new Common Ground by the draft team responsible. The Common Ground is the keystone to create a unified field in our community – as such it is a most important statement!
After studying the draft, I received two recommendations:

Here the more obvious one:

5. Respect: ...... I try to stop manipulation and intimidation, or other actions that are abusive to myself and others.

Recommend change to:

5. Respect: ..... I courageously address manipulation and intimidation, or other actions that are abusive to myself and others.

Here the more involved point:

4. Perspective: I recognise that what I see outside myself (appreciation, criticisms or irritations) are reflections of what is inside me. I am responsible for working through and when appropriate putting aside my personal issues for the benefit of the whole.

Recommend amendment: (there is a more detailed explanation for this suggested amendment which can be found under “Topics” on www.findhorn.biz).

4. Balance: I recognise that I, others, animals, plants, objects, projects, organisations and businesses can be in or out of balance. I am responsible for seeking and implementing solutions to create balance in myself, my environment and all the projects I am responsible for – whatever that balance looks like. I seek evolution and benefit of the whole.

I would like to ask the people who drafted the revised Common Ground and the members of this community to contemplate this and give it some thought and hopefully amend the revised Common Ground appropriately.
I look forward to celebrating the new impulse that this revised Common Ground will bring to our community!
A big “Thank you!” to the team wo worked so speedily to produce the draft!
